The 5 reasons to go to Bulgaria!
Natural paradise, Bulgaria is an authentic destination, which is still free from mass tourism. Don't wait any longer and get to know Bulgaria and its inhabitants.
 A rare getaway
Less visited than its neighbors Turkey and Romania, Bulgaria appears strangely removed from the tourist circuits, which on the one hand is not bad at all. If you are a traveler who likes countries with still living traditions, Bulgaria is for you. It is an authentic destination, unaffected by mass tourism, with a welcoming local population and extraordinary landscapes.
A natural paradise
Bulgaria has one of the most outstanding natural environments in Eastern Europe. The number of natural and national parks confirm this fact: the Pirin National Park, the Rila National Park or even the Strandja Nature Park are just a few examples of Bulgarian natural grandeur. This abundance of mountains and forests will give you numerous possibilities for activities such as hiking in summer or skiing in winter.
A country that remains rooted in its traditions and with a firmly established culture
A very rural nation, Bulgaria has preserved its traditions in its many isolated villages in the mountainous regions of the country. Be it architecture, customs or crafts, Bulgaria has a very active rural life, which you can observe by staying in one of the country's private accommodations. The markets still live to the rhythm of the seasonal produce, while the traditional architecture has been very well preserved, especially in the mountains. An ideal way to reconnect with your roots and enjoy dealing with people.
To discover monasteries and ancient sites of great beauty
A largely Orthodox Christian country, Bulgaria still has a very active community of practitioners. While each major city has many sometimes quite impressive Orthodox churches (especially the Alexander Nevsky Church in Sofia), the monasteries nestled in the mountains are must-see places worth more than one visit. Rila is undoubtedly the most famous, perched at 1,200 meters of altitude, with its series of arcades and its beautiful church that reveals some really amazing wall paintings.
For fun in big cities or on the coast
Bulgaria has an especially vibrant nightlife. The capital Sofia has a good number of bars, concert halls hidden in the subways and night clubs that young people flock to to dance the night away. It won't be difficult to find where to party. But Bulgaria is not the only capital of training, the largest cities in the country, Plovdiv or even Veliko Tarnovo offer great places to go out, as well as the coast of the Dead Sea, which transforms when summer arrives, and becomes a real outdoor disco.

When to travel to Bulgaria
Choose the period between May and September to come to Bulgaria: otherwise the temperatures will be too low. If you feel like skiing, come between December and February, and those who want to rest on the beaches of the Black Sea will have to come in the summer months.
